This thoughtful conversion/extension of the old Labour Club is an over 21s members only club, however a CAMRA membership card will gain entry. Attracting a mixed clientele, the emphasis is on music on weekend evenings (occasional live bands) and can get both busy and noisy! With its independent status allowing liaison with microbreweries not included on many PubCo lists, the Club chairman is keen to develop the guest beers, and is actively exploring the possibility of introducing an in-house microbrewery. Children allowed in until 6pm. No car park but nearest public parking within 100m. A function room is available with seating for 40 or 30 for food. Lunchtime and evening meals will be available soon (as of Feb 2009). The club's website can be found at www.club-congleton.com.
